Our communications office just moved to a new building. You know what that means.
"What are we going to do with this stuff?"
"Why not send it to archives?"
I'm toying with the idea of letting it just sit here until I have student workers to do the inventory on it.
It's going to be a great addition because it's photographs and art work. But 12 boxes all at once! I'm so glad I learned the difference between libraries and archives so I don't even have to consider doing item by item cataloging.

It’s a little funny and a little sad, but that’s exactly how it happened.
“What are we going to do with this?”
“Throw it out?”
“No! We couldn’t!”
“Put it in the archives pile then.”
Sad. Sad. Sad.
Actually, I have a Stern Hall book sitting on my desk that I keep meaning to bring over to you, too. It’s sitting right next to my little yellow card that says, “you’re hired– now you may get an id card.” i haven’t taken care of that yet, either.
