Office of Communications going paperless

August 3, 2007

Our office of communications has decided to get rid of their paper files.  They are sending all of their faculty information files to me.  I’ll fold them into what is becoming a huge collection.  They have two sets of files, current and past faculty.  I’ll put them all into one alphabetical series.  It makes you wonder (again) about the future, since these files will no longer be updated.  I know, from my own work flow, that this will be much more efficient for them, but where are the archives of tomorrow coming from?
